Please give me one logical reason, not media hyped, for why you think "Pit Bulls" should be banned.

Especially when many humane societies recommend "pit bull" type dogs as family pets because of their stable temperament, high pain tolerance, and desire to please people.

And I don't want none of that "I know someone that was attacked" BS. I want logic. Not Hype. Or a solitary personal situation. I talking as the breed as a whole, not an individual dog.

Answers:

Pit Bull haters can't give a logical reason as to why Pitties should be banned. The reason for this is all they know is the media hype and nothing else. This is all they want to believe. I experience this it least once to twice a week walking my Pitties out and about from ignorant people who know nothing of the breed except for what they see and hear.They choose not to become educated about the breed. Instead t.hey would rather believe what they see and hear with the media.

I have NEVER seen a shelter recommend a bit bull as a family pet !! Especially a shelter because they do not know what kind of background they've had . I know that in some counties pit bulls are illegal like Dade county Florida and in some of the inner cities it is a against the law for anyone under 18 to have one in their possession . I do believe a pit can be a good dog but the shelter thing gets me !!
