Answers:It wont extend his life. It may either give him a buddy or make him really mad. Some older dogs don't take newbies very well. You may want to see how they are together in your house. My 10 year old Golden (died last march) hated other dogs in his old age and told them that. But after he adjusted, he was fine. He still was not happy with a dog bouncing around him and all, he would rather just sleep. good luck
I don't really know but make sure you are willing to take care of that dog for another 12 years of your life without giving it up
Well, it will either extend it, if they get along, or shorten it if he gets all stressed out. Hopefully he likes other dogs.
