Have you taken him to a vet about it yet?

Try giving him Omega 3 fatty acids; you can get them at the grocery store in gel capsules. Pierce the capsule with a pin and squirt it on his food and mix it in good. I've also found that mixing raw egg in food helps their skin.

But see a vet first!

Email the Queen.
add wheat germ oil to his food. You might want to check with the vet to make sure he doesn't have allergies
Try using the Holsistic Egal brand with Salman oil in it. My dog has skin problems to and that has helped greatly.
Maybe change his diet, or add 1 tbsp. of olive oil to his food. Good luck!!
Add some Grizzly Salmon Oil to the food. It helped my Chi immensely.

lots of things can cause it. If you sprayed or cleaned your rug or house or yard he can have sensitiviety to those things.

ADand E vitamines are good for his skin and can be perchased as an oil to put over his feed. Wheat germ oil. also flax seed oil is great for dogs hair.

try oatmeal based doggie shampoo..will sooth irritated skin and relieve itching. this may be due to an allergy so might need to get him checked out.also freqent baths can also cause this problem.
Change his food.
