im sure everyone has dogs and, as part of survival, have full time jobs too.

The thing is: people say that if you have a dog it has to stay inside, make sure "you come home every few hours to let the dog out"??? WHAT??? As if i can tell work "im going home to let my dog out?!?!?!" YOU'RE FIRED!!!

I have 2 puppies (bulldogxstaffie & labxstaffie) that stays out all day in our smallish garden (we leave for work at 8.30am and come back at 5.30pm).

Are they meant to be inside??? Imagine the mess.

people theres nothing wrong with having the dogs out all day. Water,shelter and some toys its all they need.

Some folks find it cruel to keep dogs outside even with the luxuries of inside---food, shelter, water, and toys. In my opinion if the dogs are comfortable, they are meant to be outside to enjoy the fresh air and singing birds. Mine have to unfortunately stay inside due to the heat but I would love for them to stay out all day

my sister keeps her boxer pup out in a kennel with her toys, food, water, and shelter while they are at work. her pup seems fine when they get home. they bring the dog in for the evening. i guess it is ok for some people. on a personal level, i wouldn't do it. i am a stay at home mom, so my dog is not alone.
