What are my chances that i will get a puppy at an animal shelter2007-11-25 2:50:57
Well, i been to animal shelters only once and i wasn't allowed to look at the animals because i was to young.
I want to get a puppy, only a few weeks old. A puppy that is small so i can care for it from scratch.
For some reason i think dogs from the animal shelters are old dogs, what are my chances i can get a puppy?
The type i want to get is a chow chow, akita, or a lab. but i am find with whatever i have a chance to take home.
Answers:You will need to be of legal age in your state to get an animal from a public shelter. They have them from the earlies puppy stages to old dogs. Good for you for wanting to keep one of them from being euthanized.
Your chances are 3 in 5.
Very Likely! Go to Petfinder.com!
The chances are excellent, and you would be rescuing a little puppy from possible death. I can't even walk through a shelter without bring home a puppy. Oh, and they are all great dogs!!
Well, if you are a minor then you need to take your mom or dad with you so that you can pick out a puppy that is just right for your family. If you and your parents visit the animal shelters you will certainly find a puppy (yes, a little puppy because there are hundreds of them out there that need good homes and they are in shelters all around the world) that is perfect for all of you!
