I like going with good German names for German dogs. Han, Gretchen (Greta), Brita, Fritz, Petra, Fran etc. German names are usually gutteral and just *sound* strong, like Rottweilers.

Aspen for a male or female. Hondo for a boy. I know some a couple Rottis with these names, and they seem to fit their personalitys. You can also get a pet name book which is really cool because it has the names alphabetically and tell you who in history had dogs with those names.
