Any dog can *do* agility, but certain breeds tend to be better at it and *win* more than others.

Jack Russell Terriers are great small agility dogs. They are fast and like challenges.

Jack Russel's & Fox Terriers are small and make excellent agility dogs. Course the all around best medium size dog is and probably always will be the border collie. 2nd in line is an aussie (australian shep) Cattle dogs can make great agility dogs as well.

Fox terriers are great agility dogs. Not only that they are, smart, easy to train and are one of the most loyal dogs on the planet.

Rat terriers and fox terriers are both very agile.I think they are like most others though that they may need working with and they also should want to do as you ask them. We had a Fox Terrier that liked to walk on the banister of our deck . The first time I saw her doing this it scared me. It was only a 2x4. I was used to the cats doing this but never a dog. We never trained her for anything though.
