It does look like a sable German Shepherd pup. Bloodline characteristics are hard to tell by these pictures. When you take it in to the vet, be sure to have his shots updated. Take a stool sample in with you as well to the vet. Also, if this is a male, have the vet check to see that both testicles are descended. The reason I said something about bloodline characteristics is that you will see longer muzzles in some lines, shorter in others. Also, the ears can appear larger, depending on the bloodline. My DDR boy had a shorter muzzle, very broad head and what looked like tiny ears for the longest time. My American show pups will have longer muzzles, narrower heads, and they can have ears that look too big for their heads. I would not jump up and call that pup a mix right now. I had sent you some links with pictures on them of stacked puppies. You can see the way we stack them or set them up for a side standing shot. Try to take a few pictures of him stacked for us to see.

looks like a mix of a German Shepherd and something else- definitely not full blooded - its snout is too long for a full blooded German Shepherd - sure is cute though.

nope defo not a pure breed,may have german shepard in him but defo not pure bred.

It's very young so all the charcteristocs are not totally develped, but it does look to be at least mostly German Shepherd. It may have something else in it, but it's hard to tell while it's so young. It's gonna be cute though!
