What breed(s) do you see in my mutt
She's 18 months old. I got her from the Humane Society, where they said she's a shepherd mix. She weighs 40 lbs and is still kind of skinny. She sniffs a lot, suggesting she's part hound, loves water and retrieving things, and apparently displays some herding behavior. I think at least one of her parents was a mutt, but I was wondering if you guys had any guesses as to what breeds she could be. I'll never know for sure, but it's fun to guess!
Here are a couple different pictures for you:

Thanks for any ideas you have!!!
Answers:Great pics. She is adorable.
I would guess that she is Shepherd/Boarder Collie.
Her ears and size, her build and face look very much like a Boarder Collie. Her coloring makes her look like GS.
All the characteristics that you listed also fits the Boarder Collie.
It is fun to guess.
The ears & white markings make me think ''Australian Shepherd'' is in the mix. Coloring could be Labrador or a Retriever.
