What can I do for my puppie if his stomach is upset and he wont eat2007-11-25 2:50:41

urine is dark, won't eat nor drink, has been eating grass, but he can sometimes be playfull.

Take the dog to a vet! He is sick, and what would you do if you were sick, you'd go to a doc!

Everything you said put up a *big* red flag to me.

This is more than an upset stomach. If the dog is not taking in food or water you need to go to the vet immedietly! Its very very easy for puppies to get dehydrated.

Puppies often get into things they shouldnt and can get bowel obstructions, or this could be a number of other things. You need to get to the vet, or you may lose your puppy.

Call your vet see what they say sometimes they recommend a special diet of rice and chicken or hamburger but you want to ask them first it could be a simple case of an upset stomache or something very serious it is better to be safe

Kaopectate is the best for upset tummies but if he is sick more than 1 day a vet visit is in order. Dark urine usually means it is concentrated and he might be dehydrated. Pull up some skin on his back and if it does not go down fast take him to the vet. Young puppies can die fast. Also if his gums are pale or sticky that is not a good sign. He may just have worms or he may be very sick..

Get him or her to na vet urine is not suppose to be that dark give the puppy gatorate and try chicken they both have protien. take the puppy to a vet for a urine test

Wow.. Stomach upset, won't eat, urine dark, won't drink ( that's why his urine is dark ) and he eats grass..
