What can I do to help my dog stomach noises2007-11-25 2:50:43

I have a min pin and her stomach is making a lot of nosies. She is not eating and drinking. She is peeing and her poop is a little runny. She seems OK in her behaviour but last night she was slow in motion.

She's got a tummy infection. Needs antibiotics from the vet to clear it up and firm her stools up. You can purchase Buscopan from chemist - one tablet daily - to help with the tummy cramps. It's what the vet gives you for the same thing, but its cheaper at the pharmacy. I know it's ok because my vet recommended I get it from pharmacy. Unfortunately there are tummy bugs going around for little doggies, just as there are for us humans. Get well soon little dog.

How many days is this been going on? What food is she on? Not to scare you, but it sounds like you need to go to the vet!!!

Her stomach is probably making noises due to the fact that she hasn't eaten anything. Make sure to get her to drink something or else she is going to get dehydrated. I would take her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have anything serious wrong with her b4 it's too late.

Its soumds like she has possibly got a tummy upset. If she was lively and generally ok then I would advise you to starve her for 24 hours then introduce a light diet. But you mention that she is lethargic and sluggish. This would indicate the need for veterinary assistance. Book her an appointment so a vet can have a good feel at her tummy and take her temp. They can then suggest the correct course of action.
