Dry skin in dogs can have many causes. Some types of dogs like chinese crested have a tendency for dry skin no matter what. Dry skin can also be caused by allergies, particularly food allergies. My dog had bad allergies and he used to chew his feet to the point where they would bleed. I switched him to a better dog food and not only did that get better but his skin and coat got healthier and shinier. His coat is so soft and shinny.Use the vitamin E for a month and watch how nice their coat are.
