What can I do with non English speaking neighbors who allow small children to tease my puppy making2007-11-25 2:50:45

Their small children poke sticks at him and throw things at him. He is a very gentle, loving puppy (8 mo.) and when he sees these children he barks and growls and the hair on his neck stands up. They are now afraid of him. The parents are always outside and know what is going on. I have also found puppy eating things these kids have thrown in my yard and that scares me. He is in his own fenced in yard and cannot get out to hurt them. One even reached thru the fence and hit him. I need help! Remember they do not speak English and I do not speak Spanish.

Take pictures of it if you can catch it happening. Document everything!! Call the police too. Keep a copy of the reports. Any and every time something happens write it down, take pics if possible, call police. If your dog does bite you will need all the evidence you can get to prove your side!! Maybe a wooden fence on that side or some of those privacy strips if you have a chainlink fence.

Report them to the police. If your pup bites one of the vicious children, you will be held responsible and your dog will probably have to be put down.

Call the cops I am sure the cops will find a spanish speaking officer to tell them to knock it off. Animal abuse is a crime in some states.

if they are throwing things in your yard that is vandalism, report it to the police and then also complain they are harassing your dog.

Maybe you can find someone who speaks Spanish to help translate for you, or...
