Alright, I picked up my dog and put her down( shes about 6,7,8 months) and i had blood on me. I checked her out and noticed her... area was swollen. She bled again and i wiped it with a napkin. What can i do to keep her from bleeding around the house? Shes an indoor dog. Is their an item i can buy like a pad or diaper for this occasion? Please answer!
Answers:Get her spayed after this and you'll never have to put up with that again. Get her some "fancy pants".
You could get her a doggy diaper. My grandmother used them for her min pins when she was house breaking them.
Yes they make doggie pads that are like doggie diapers for that. Your best bet is to get her spayed though, then she will not go into heat any more so you wont have the bleeding and swelling.
They do sell Doggie Diapers! You can find them in you local pet supply store. Petsmart carries them if you have one in your area. They really help when females are in heat.

Yes, go to the petstore. She's having her period!!! There are pads you can purchase! Then get her spayed...and she wont bleed anymore! Unless you plan to breed, I would suggest spaying!

yes if you go to a pet store they should have washable dog diapers and you can buy those and then when she is done just wash it and keep it for the next time. (make sure you wash it while she is still bleeding otherwise she can get an infection) but i would think about getting her fixed if you don't want to have puppies and you want to get rid of the bleeding all together

Yes, there are diapers made special for all sizes of dogs. They also sell maxi pads to go along with the diapers, however, you can buy a cheaper brand of pad in your local grocery store, sometimes under $3.00 with a greater quantity than they sell in the pet stores and they work just as well. The other option would be to get your dog spayed.
