What do i do with my 9 weeks old Bichon
I know you need to crate them for a couple of hours on and off but what about when i go to work for 8-9 hours a day. i do not have anyone to let the puppy out. What do i do?
Answers:I have a 6 month old Maltipoo which I've had since she was 8 weeks old. I've been able to block off my kitchen area (5ft x 10ft) with a baby gate. I put down a large potty pad, a blanket with toys, food, water, and her bed. She has done really great with this. She cried the first two days when I left but that was it... now when she sees I'm about to leave she walks into the kitchen and waits for me to put up the gate and say bye. I'm also gone 8 hours so I walk her as soon as I get home everyday and this schedule has worked really good for us.
love, and play with it. crate trianing is the best way to trian a puppy. after you feed it take it out side.
Can you take her with you in the crate, and put her under your desk? If this is possible it can also help with socialization.
Please sell her to a family who can be home with her most of the day. Bichons are very dependent, people dogs. Their name means "lap dog."
I am not a dog lover at all but we have 2 bichons and we're retired . They have our full attention and affection most of the time, which they crave.

Your puppy can't go that long without going to the bathroom. Try putting his crate in an exercise pen, or close off a room small with a baby gate. Train your puppy to use pads, and leave them in the pen or room when you're gone, that way your puppy can go to the bathroom when you're not there without having to be let out of it's crate.
