If it's not weened, try warm goat milk, which you should be able to buy at any grocery store. Keep in mind however that it is old enough to be weened, so try mixing it with some wet canned food. If he/she won't eat it, then just do the milk for a couple more weeks.

It's too young to be weaned. It needs dog milk, but perhaps there is a formula version that you can bottle-feed.

(If you wean at this age, you risk colic-type illnesses for life. If your puppy has diarrhoea when it is eventually weaned, try something bland like white fish and rice.)

A five week old puppy is really too young to be away from it's mother and siblings. It is, however, old enough to begin to learn to eat solid foods. A lot of puppies learn to taste "Mom's" food and chew a little of it, if soft enough. I begin mixing GROUND puppy kibble mixed in Esbilac Second Step with water. Second Step is a powered milk replacer that you can get at most pet stores, but not grocery stores. Make into an oatmeal consistency "mush" at first. The puppy will walk in it, sniff it, taste and probably eat some, if it has no mother's milk. You can gradually increase the thickness, and, as the pup learns to eat is, decrease the Second Step. Within a week or two, the pup will be able to chew moistened puppy kibble. He/She needs to be fed four times a day at first. Be sure the pup has been wormed. No vaccination yet. It's too young. Avoid taking it out in public, as it has no immunity until the first vaccinations at 8 and 12 weeks.
