I heard he is being sued for nearly killing a dog with his treadmill training method.

Answers:

I think he is WONDERFUL! He doesn't hit or hurt animals. I can see how an owner might take his advice and mess it up. But he is a real inspiration to me!

He suggests the treadmill for short term exercise if the owners absolutely can't walk their dog and the poor thing needs exercise. He mostly recommends owners actually exercise with their dogs.

UPDATE: I just looked up the lawsuit. It was from a year ago. It turned out, he wasn't even there when the treadmill thing happened, the owner's personal dog trainer was at his facility and over used the treadmill, not Cesar.

LOL, I haven't seen his treadmill method, but the rest of his methods aren't actually harsh at all, and the results are good.

I know a lot of people dislike his alpha training, but he's a professional and along with every single programme goes a warning to NOT do this yourself, if people choose to disregard that warning it's their problem. I think he's great, we've tried a few of the smaller things with dogs and they work, and the dog has no ill effects physically or mentally.

i don't think it is at all. i think he's great. he really seems to understand how a dog thinks. there are times he's a little too happy for me, but he's always fun to watch. i've tried some of his techniques myself and they work.

I don't know about the treadmill thing but I've never seen him do anything that I would consider inhumane. Dogs and wolves do much worse things to discipline each other and they survive.
