It's a pest when he blows coat though which he's doing now.
They are big strong dogs though. Hope this helps.
I think they are pretty and intelligent. They aren't my favorite but they are neat. I hate when people breed them to fight though. Its cruel.

I think with an experienced owner they can be a great breed. But they need to be well trained. My friend's neighbors had Akita's who were very aggressive they jumped over there fence and bit my friend's sister in the arm and she had to get stitches! But I have seen Akita's who were very friendly and loving because they had good owners.
