What does it mean when a dogs ears are turned back
A friend kept my American Bull dog for a few days and she got lost in a extremely large forest for two days. She found her way back to the dog sitter's, totally exhausted. It's been two days now and her ears are constantly turned back toward her tail. She seems like a totally different dog. I thought it may be fear but I just don't know. I'm simply giving her lots of love and affection but all she wants to do is sleep and she will eat if I hand feed her.
Can you help me?
Answers:Well, with most dogs, they put their ears back when they are tired or bored. You could just let her sleep because she might be tired. But if that doesn't help, she might be in shock, so you should take her to the vet.
