Usually dreams that are scary are the mind's way of dealing with stressful issues. Are you stressed or anxious about something?
It means you've seen in the the local newspaper or the news and your subconcsiess relays that as a fear
Chances are nothing.It's called a nightmare.No worries.
It means you feel very vulnerable, scared and like a child with no protection. You feel that people are out to get you, and you have nothing to defend yourself with.
You should seek therapy.

This is more of a psychology question than a pet question really.I'd guess though that you feel vulnerable about something so your dream turns you into a baby-the most vulnerable part of our lives.The dog attack is probably cos you've read 1 of the stories about a dog attacking a kid that turn up in the papers now and again.
If it really bothers you maybe you should consider seeing a therapist who has experience of dealing with troubling dreams.
