my dog is a girl. she is usually very quiet, calm, and lazy. for a week now, she's been very hyper, active, shes been chewing up everything, she barely want to eat her food; dry or wet. what does this mean? thanks
Answers:sounds like if you dont want a bunch of puppies. keep her away from other dogs.. because from the way it sounds.. shes comming into heat.
If she isn't fixed she may be in heat.
how old ? teething? stomach upset?puppys chew alot ,like a baby teething.
Anytime you have an extreme behavior change, especially with her going off her food, you should take her in to the vet. It could be something as simple as coming into heat or there could be something bothering her.
