What does my dog have and what is a natural way to cure it2007-11-25 2:52:13

it takes him a while to get his back legs up and they keep shaking. If you touch him on the back it hurts him. I need a cure or medicine that is like in your house because I cant bring him to the vet.

Answers:

bring him to a vet immediately or find someone who will,,, how cruel of you.sounds like hip dysplasia or spinal cord injury. this is not a joke.. get that dog to the vet.

There isn't a cure in your house. I don't know why you can't get to a vet, but you have to if your dog is in pain.
Weakness, tremors and pain: It sounds like a neurological (spine/ nerve damage) disorder; it could also be caused by some kinds of brain tumors. This isn't something you can "cure" with an aspirin. You MUST take this dog to a vet. The longer you wait, the worse its condition may get.
the best thing to do would be to look up a petsmart or petco near you with a hospital in it so you wont have to go to an actual vet if you cant then call them and ask them, if you dont your animal can lose its back legs or even die, it could be an infection in its spine
How old is your dog? If he is old then you could be dealing with Arthritis, a neurological disorder and many other age related illnesses/ diseases.

While you can try the joint supplements, like Chrondroitin, Glucosamine it would be best to have your dog evaluated by a vet.
