What do they do to your dog because we put ours in a shelter and I want to know if she will be safe there.
Answers:It depends on the shelter. If it's a pound or animal control, chances are she will be put to sleep if she's not rescued. If it was a no-kill shelter, then she will be safe. look up the shelter you brought her to on www.petfinder.com and you may be able to see which one she's at. Let me know, and I'll try to rescue her if she needs to be rescued.
they do have no kill shelters but some keep them for a while and if no home is found they put them to sleep, most do not let you ask what happened to your dog after you leave it with them, but alot of people go to shelters looking for dogs to love. so I wouldn't worry to much.
are you boarding her? or did you leave her there permanently? boarding her, she'll be fine. they feed her and walk her. permanently? i hope it's a no-kill shelter, and they find her a home. this is something you should have asked them...
