What dogfood is safe for my 3 rat terriers, my chihuahua, and my pitbull mix
Are the brand names still on the store shelves safe for them to eat?

Hey Kamal Q leftovers are not nutritionally balanced for any animal and contain WAY TOO MUCH SALT, FAT AND SUGAR (even without adding extra) for them to digest properly
Go to a pet food store, not a grocery store or walmart or your corner 7 eleven. Ask for Canidae, or Eagle Pack or Wellness it comes in canned and dry. It's a nice small kibble. Try to stay in top quality foods as they have not been hit by the food recalls. Also when you feed a top quality food, you pay more for it but you have a healthier pet and less vet bills.
Most pet stores and grocery stores have removed all the recalled foods from their shelves. I hope you have been feeding your dogs dry food and none of that has been recalled. Give your dogs high quality dry food and you will be rewarded with healthy dogs, with shiny coats. Another plus is that they will poop a lot less.
I wouldn't trust any of that food. Most dog food in pet stores are pretty good and reliable. Feed the dogs something like Canidae as they have an 'All Life Stages' type which you can feed to any dog at any age.
