What happen
please no rude answers, i feel bad myself :(
yesterday my fiance and i were arguing. my 13weeks old puppy was in the same room. he started whining while we were yelling back and forth to eachother. about 10 min. went by and he had an excess amount of saliva on both sides of his mouth in bubbly form. i immediatly took him out of the room we went in another room, comforted him and calmed him down a bit. he was still drooling quite a bit and finally after about 15 min he dried up.was this some type of nervous reaction??? today he is fine..the bubbles scared me!
Answers:probably just being nervous... my dog does the same thing when she goes to the vet/groomer. i almost need to take a bucket and towel to clean it up she does it so bad and not to mention she farts like crazy when she gets nervous or upset.
the last vet visit she was sooo nervous, she pooped at the door and she is house broke, lol.
Could of been. Don't show anger around a dog- he may think you are yelling at him. Dogs don't understand anger the way humans do. If he's fine now I wouldn't worry about it. If it happens again, he will need to go see a vet.
I have no idea truthfully, but isn't excess saliva a symptom of rabies?
He's fine! Dogs drool when they get nervous! And the two pack leaders yelling at each other is defiantly cause for concern with any dog, much less a puppy.
