What if a a large dog ate one pizza size chicken wing2007-11-25 2:52:18

He chewed most of it up them swallowed it, so it wasnt like he ate it whole or anything. Will he be OK?

I wouldn't worry, the worst that will happen, is he will have a little indigestion. If he ate the bone aswell, that may be slightly problematic, but i still wouldn't worry, as long as he didnt choke on the bone, he should be alright.

my big dog ate the bones of a KFC drumstick once. he snatched them and just crunched them all down. i freaked and called the emergency vet right away. they said as long as he got it down it should be no problem, but to just watch for any sypmtoms like not eating/drinking or tiredness. i wouldn't worry! if he chewed the wing up it should be just fine! they said the main worry is choking, so if your dog chewed and swallowed he should be ok!

i wouldnt worry one of my greys ate the netting from a fat ball and loadsa tin foil so im sure ur dog will be fine though keep an eye out in case he gets constipated
