You mean like a dog license? If that's what it is you probably did it through the county. Your vet would probably know or might be able to give you suggestions on who it would be.

you should have went to your county registrar and had them put it on file like you do with a marriage license. then you would always know how to get a new one.

Do you mean registered and in proof it is a purebred dog? Does the dog have a microchip? A vet can tell. If so that probably contains registry info. Otherwise talk to the breeder where you bought the diog and ask what registry they used and/or do a search for dog registries and contact each by email with as much info as you can remember re: date, parents of dog, breeder etc. There are not many of them.

If you mean registered like has a dog license it would be where you were living at the time. (City or county) and registration is usually a yearly thing like a tax or fee and required in each new place. You will need proof that the dog has up to date rabies shots and proof that the dog is spayed or neutered if it is.. Just call the city or county offices or animal control and they can tell you how to update a registration. It is usually not very expensive,
