Like I said, it depends on what you are looking for because each person had their own breed and they think they are best.

An English mastiff. One of the oldest breeds. Bred to guard estates and such. Very personable and loyal to their master. They are very large dogs but do not require long walks. Perfect city pets believe it or not. But I am sure your castle HRH, is big enough too.
