You can also try some doggie ice cream if you can find it everywhere. Ice cubes make good treats during the hot summer months.

I would stick to the fruits/veggies/chicken to stay on the healthy side!

My dogs got tried of cheese pretty quickly too when i was training them but since I switched to using cooked chicken pieces(breast preferably and no bones) they can't stop doing tricks just to get the treat. or you can try getting a piece of bread cut into little squares and put a piece of cheese and chicken in between two little squares of bread makes a very tasty treat my dogs love this too.

In my opinion, freeze dried liver bits is the best treat to use to train a dog. They are small enough to conceal in your hand and most dogs love them. They can be purchased at any pet store.
