Once it is used to the litter box with the paper, you may begin the change to doggy litter if desired. As time goes on, you may add additional litter until eventually the paper is gone and only litter remains. If you choose this method, you must clean the litter box every time your Dog eliminates. It will not go in a dirty box. Failure to consistently clean the litter box will result in your puppy reverting back to the floor.

Follow any of the above 3 methods consistently, and you should soon have a fully house-trained Dog!

First, get a vet check to make sure it is not a urinary tract infection or other medical problem.

my boston terrier was the same way, i thought he'd never learn but he did! this is what i did and it worked.(did take a couple weeks though) everytime id witness him pee id say no pee pee in the house several times and show him the pee and throw him outside while saying no pee pee in the house, pee outside. i did that a bunch of times and it worked, if hes young just remember pups usually can hold their pee 1 hour for every month, so you gotta take them out contantly and most important first thing in the morning rightaway take them outside and once they pee outside PRAISE HEAVILY , i just said good boy pee outside a bunch of times and give him treats.

You need to have a good form of discipline when you catch him in the act. NOT HITTING!! I hired an instructor that taught the similar snap of the leash that the Dog Whisperer does on TV but with a choke chain. That works great! Then you need to immediately put him outside and say go potty or something like that until he goes again. Soon with a few more accidents, he will start asking to go out. You should go out with him at first and tell him Good Boy while he goes.

In Australia we have a spray called pet barrier. what you do is spray this formula ( like in the garden along fences etc) and it wards off animal peeing maybe something like that might help
