What is a great fundrasier that a small group of about 6 people do that you can earn about 500 dolla

this fundrasier is going to be for a humane society to help with animal care

If you are affiliated with the Humane Society try hosting a pat fair... you can have several of the animals on hand that are looking for good homes and maybe good with children, offer face painting to young children for a dollar and sell hot dogs and sodas.

You could accomplish several things by doing this...

1. raise more than the 500 dollars you need

2. actually find a family wanting to adopt a pet at the shelter

3. connect with the community

4. offer safe, family fun for small children that won't break the average families wallet...

This is something I would take my kids to. Offer helium balloons for 50 cents. Hot dogs 1.00 soda .75 cents face painting 1.00

We did something really similar to this when I was in high school and it paid off HUGE!!!! also, many elementary schools in my area have lil fairs with games and food...the kids always have a great time and the schools make a killing. Just make sure you get the food from something like Sam's, BJ's, or Costcos (buy in bulk for a cheaper rate) and have the 6 people in your group do the cooking the face painting and the balloons... also someone can stay with the animals and hold them while little ones pet them.

It would be some work but I believe since it seems to me you are motivated to help your community that you would be able to pull it off and have fun doing it too.
