What is a home remedy for an ear infection for a dog from ear mites2007-11-25 2:51:42

I believe he has had ear mites and I've been using a store bought solution..but now I smell that ear infection smell and he's shaking his head often. Any home remedies?

Your dog needs to be seen by the vet to find out what he actually has. The vet can then prescribe the correct medication which will actually help this poor dog. Don't you know that ear infections are very, very painful? Get him to the vet.

Baby oil.It works great on Ear mites.Put it in a spray bottle and spray it into there ears.Not to much;just mist it.

Oil like umm mineral oil or maybe baby oil and make sure after u putt it in there u rub them good

If its an infection from mites, and is already so bad you can smell it, you will have to get a prescription from the vet, it is too advanced for most home cures.

Buy some Muriac acid at your local home center. Pour the acid in the dogs ears. The mites will die instantly. Any infection will also die.

i have some natural drops for ear infections. although its not meant for ear mites. just the infection part :D it isnt really a "home remedy" im an ambertech distributor. do some research on ambertech!
