It is a filthy, disgusting place where animals are housed in the worst conditions possible, in cages stacked high, their urine and feces dropping from one cage into the ones below them. The dogs are bred over and over again until they die or become unable to have babies any more and them are usually taken out behind the stinking sheds and shot or knocked in the head. Puppy mills ship puppies by the truckloads all across the US to sell them in petstores. The puppies are usually diseased or have mutiple genetic defects or both and often die within a short time after leaving the pet stores. Nost people who have bought pet store/puppy mill puppies have some horoor stories to tell. They usually breed many breeds, feed and water them as little as possible to keep them alive. Some breeders who only have a few dogs are just as bad, breeding their dogs every heat cycle, never giving the dogs a break, breeding them from the time of their first heat, then ewvery 6-8 mo until the dogs die or no longer produe. The ones with lots of dog, the puppynills, or the ones with just a few who breed for only the money they can rake in are equally bad. They don't care at all about the animals, it is all about the money.
