this is easy, the dog was trained to do a job for the blind and in order for them to keep them active the owner has to keep the dog working, as the dog still needs to get his or her exercise, daily or the dog will not preform as it were trained to. Dogs need to be a dog and when it works all the time he is not having his other needs met as running and playing etc so the owner must keep him going to keep him in a calm submissive mood. When not challenged or working dogs become aggressive and bad behavior starts.
