A dog because cats become irritated easier. If a cat scratches you, you can get rabies. You will have to buy all that liter because cats pepe stinks really really bad.

dogs because dogs can protect you from robbers and it can be just a good friend. cats on the other hand would scratch you but they can be a good friend too. i'm a dog person soo i love dogs. dogs are the best to me.

I am a dog person and a cat person. I love both and I have both.

I think it all depends on you and your lifestyle.

Please do not fall for the myth that cats are more aloof and less of a financial burden. They are neither. They also require as much care and attention as dogs do. The biggest difference is they can go longer at home alone because they have litter boxes and don't need to wait for you to let them out. Other than that, they require as much attention and care as dogs. Financially, I think they are about the same as far as medical bill, feeding and toys.
