I feed the foods at http://www.frrco.com/121668 They do not use "cheap" ingredients, but buy from human grade food suppliers. None of the human foods have been recalled, to my knowledge!
Plus they keep samples of their food for at least 6 months for ongoing quality testing...
I know exactly how you feel. It's so scary! I've used Canidae All Life Stages, for my Chihuahua's, for quite a long time now, and they love it, and have never been sick. It has No corn, wheat, soy, grain fractions, by products or fillers, and is human grade, and naturally preserved. It is safe! None of their products have been recalled including canned. If you type Candidae All Life Stages in your search bar, it brings up many sites you can go to, that have all the information you need on this food. I feel comfortable feeding this food to my dogs.
