What is the age of the average asker of questions in the dogs section2007-11-25 2:52:32

I read some of these answers and I can't believe they really think they know what they are talking about.

I swear if I read one more time about someone claiming a dog that has a dry nose means it is sick or has a fever, and a dog's nose should be wet all the time, I swear my head is going to blow off!

It is indeed scary some of the questions here and amazes me how people/kids will give some one with even a scientific answer a thumbs down just because they don't like their answer or it goes against what they are doing whether it be right or wrong.

I think many people find it easier to remain ignorant then to learn anything. I have had a couple of my answers deleted by yahoo for no good reason while they were no more harsh then everyone elses. I really don't know why I waste my time here.

good question. This is an excellent place for youngsters to learn, sometimes. Sometimes, the answers are just as ignorant as some of the questions you point out.

I think there are alot of questions asked that make one think that most people shouldn't even own a dog, But I have to think, or hope that even if the person who asked the question doesn't listen to the advice, someone else coming along reading will take it to heart and spay/neuter their own pets, or have second thoughts about breeding that litter, or at least learn something that they can use in the future.. Maybe the asker doesn't learn, but hopefully someone is learning?! I have learned several things that I wasn't aware of.. So even if people aren't saying that they changed their mind or aren't coming on saying ' thanks I didn't know that, I will now spay my dog ' I have to think that the advice everyone gives will help to change things somewhat..
