A "pure bread" dog isn't going to last very long, bread stays fresh only about a week..so I'd go for something more substantial and less perishable when picking a pet.

I m 11 and have a pure breed siberian husky. i got her @ a local animal shelter 4 80 bucks but when i looked up her brother rising ash ( her names pheonix) he was being sold 4 22,000! as you can see price varys!

pure bred dogs often cost a lot more than mixed. if you're serious in your search you can look in newspapers and shelters and you'll probably find a good price for one if you look hard enough. i have a pure bred english springer spaniel and we got her for a very cheap price. your best bet would to look for a small to medium sized dog, very small and large dogs often cost more.

If you're not spelling it correctly, you've got a long way to go before you can buy and show these dogs! I've seen Yorkshire Terriers go up to $5000, but a lot of people breed them to be extremely tiny and small, which usually isn't very healthy. Duke is an AKC registered male Yorkie that cost $1500 in WV.

It will depend on the breed and the quality of the dog. The contract can affect the price as well. It will also vary depending on the titles and health tests the parents have. The more titles and/or health clearances, the more the pups usually cost. I recommend looking at all of the breeds and seeing what type you like. If you like the looks, contact the national breed club for it and see what the personality is like. If it is a good match for you, contact breeders of that breed and see if they have what you're looking for. You can expect to pay anywhere from $1000 to $3000 depending on the variables I mentioned for a good show quality dog.
