I'll give you a similar answer to the person looking for kitten names. It would be helpful to know gender, color and personality.

Here are some of my all time favorite names:

Ben was named by the breeder's son. He was an unusually large Tibetan Terrier and was named after London's famed landmark, Big Ben.

Ginger was a cute little Tibetan -- white and ginger colored.

Tippy was a Tennessee Coon Hound -- he had a little white spot on the end of his tail.

Moose -- he was a rather large yellow lab.

Sneakers -- a beagle mix with white feet.

Roxy -- my cousin favors the brand. Her nickname is Roo-Roo because she runs like a kangaroo.

Paddy -- because I love Irish names and it just seemed to fit.
