The biggest help to potty training is routine. Get her on a schedule with some of her activities like feeding times, yard time or park time, walks, bed time and potty breaks.

Take her anytime that she sniffs like she is considering going. It helps to take her to the same general area for a potty break at least to start.

Praise and reward her when she goes outside where she should. After a few weeks of doing this, she should have control between her regular breaks, which the time between can be lengthened with age.

IF you decide to use a kennel cab for unsupervised time, do not leave her in there for hours and do not put any bedding or towels or pads or food or water in the cab with her. You can put a Kong in there with her or a Nylabone or something to keep her busy and make a pleasant association of a kennel cab. Keeping her in there too long will defeat the purpose of house training. You can get a cab that has a divider that makes a smaller space while she is smaller and then a larger space for when she is grown. Too much space and the puppy may potty in it.
