What is the difference in the amounts of protein in the dog2007-11-25 2:52:40

foods that i have been looking at? the crude protein levels are any where from 8% to 42%. the dog food i use is 21% crude protein. why is there such a huge difference? how much protein should dogs get? is it better if theres is more or less protein?
