I used to have poodle that had seizures, he would always come to me for help. He was put on a medication for the rest of his life. Its cheap and well worth it. My friend's poodle had the same scenario, takes medications now and is fine. Just have your dog checked out by your vet to rule out anything major and hopefully its just a one time event, but do you really want to wait it out like some of these bozos are telling you to do?

my dog does that all the time and the vet said she would be fine, for some reason, 'cause that is not a normal habit for most dogs...HE IS most likely to be FINE!

Doesn't sound like a seizure to me. My dog had seizures for 15 years, from Epilepsy.

It could be any number of things. It could be something as simple as an itch in his nose to a problem developing in his brain.

Just keep track of when and how long this happens, if it happens again. Write down what happened today so you have that to refer to incase this happens again. If it does, then contact the vet.

My friend had a boxer mix, Buddy. Buddy used to have seizures, and apparently, as she took him to the vet, she found out that his breed was susceptible to seizures.

I would take him to the vet and describe his symptoms. He might even exhibit the symptoms while in the vet's office. The vet could probably tell you if your dog is like Buddy.
