What kind of dog am I looking for2007-11-25 2:52:54

I am looking for a dog that looks...army-ish, rugged, muscular, protective, etc. Maybe sometihng like an Akita, bull terrier. Just tell me what looks like a bad dog! Lol thanks and God bless.

Go to the shelter! There are plenty of "tough-looking" mixes there. I got my girl from a shelter (Doberman-Rottweiler mix) and she is as nasty-looking as they come. You will find that a pound doggie will be extremely loving to you, because he/she will be eternally grateful that you brought him home.

you should go to the humane society or the local pound and look for a dog, this way, it wouldnt be put to sleep and you would have a great new pet! i personally like great danes but that may be a tad big for you...lol good luck with your search!

Go to the local shelter or dog pound. There are plenty of pets there that need homes. Also, being that it's spring there should be lots of puppies of all different breeds, sizes, and colors. Good luck!

Irish Wolfhound, really large dog, gentle as can be. But they can look incredibly intimidating.
