Brazilian Mastiffs [Fila Brazilairo] were bred to track jaguar and hunt wild boar in Brazil. I used to have one and I researched them all the time. They are amazing dogs, but fiercely aggressive at times - that's just how they were bred to be. This is a very rare breed, but they can still be used to hunt large wild animals. These are the only dogs in the show ring where the judge cannot put his hands on them, since they are still bred to be wary of people. They're huge and couragous, and would protect you with its life.
