Canidae is an excellent brand because they have a lamb and rice formula that contains lamb meal that is human grade (and free of fillers and preservatives). Also, they have a lamb and rice formula for puppies & dogs. However, any brand will do if you read the label and find that it does not contain meat by-products, wheat & rice glutens, preservatives, and meat meal because these products are either unhealthy fillers or irritate the G-I system.

When you change her over to the new food you choose, make sure you start with half the old food and half the new food to prevent soft or liquid stool.
