What kind of dog has pointy ears, and small head, about 40 to 50lbs, looks similar to a German sheph2007-11-25 2:52:58

My neighbors have one and it's funny looking. I want one like it. Anybody know what kind it is? I don't think it's a mix, I have seen 6 of them in my neighborhood at 2 different neighbor's houses. I can't ask my neighbors, we don't get along well.

Well a doberman looks nothing like a GSD and a miniature pincher is no where near 40 to 50 pounds neither are Dobes, they are heavier. If it is a dobe or a miniature pincher, You really do not know how to give a description.

Add more info on. What color is it? Does it have thick fur? Long or short fur? How tall is it? Do they look thin? So many dog breeds that can look like that.

Belgian Malinois. Oohhh... they are amazing. Smart, powerful, and agile. They are used by militaries throughout the world. Need to be well trained, but NOTHING is more scary than a well trained Malinois (or group, as they usually are done). They are amazing dogs... I suggest getting on your neighbor's good side, as a pack of these dogs might well be considered more formidable than any other pack of dogs.

Probably Belgiam Tervuren. There is another similar breed... or Belgian Malenois (Melon--wah).

I hope the picture is just an indicator, that can't be, it, those only weigh weigh 8-10 pounds, a far cry from the 40 to 50lbs you described.
