What kind of toy can you get if your dog just keeps tearing them up2007-11-25 2:53:29

I've gotten a LOT of toys for my dog and he's just a tiny toy poodle! I have gotten stuffed toys, chew toys, rubber toys, toy bones, and even real bones! What would work for him???

Kong's are great toys if your dog likes them. Mine never did. Here's where I get all my dog toys from.

They have the best toys and the rate them by a chew o meter. 5 being for the most agressive chewer. I have had their toys here for a few years and I have 2 big Goldens who are agressive chewers.

The "Kong" rubber toys are pretty sturdy, as are beef bones.

If the little guy is ripping up toys, watch him carefully around them to make sure he doesn't swallow bits of them.

There are toys out now made of fire hose. Give that a try. I feel your pain, my beagle destroys every toy within hours of receiving it!

Harp is right. Kong is a great, durable toy. I have a black lab who destroyed a bone in 5 minutes flat. I got him a Kong last spring and ha still has it!

The only thing my dag hasn't chewed to shreds in 10 seconds in a KONG. They make them in a bunch of different sizes for different size dogs.
