Okay. I just adopted this pup. The place that I adopted him from said he was vey close to purebred pit bull ... but, what about the ears? I realize that most pits have cropped ears and his are all natural but are there pits with ears like his or is it more likely that he is mixed? And if he is mixed ... then with what, do you think? Any ideas? Here he is:

Some Pit Bulls do have natural "up" ears. I would say Pure. Very nice looking boy.

Awww, cute! The face is too long to be a pure pit. Maybe he has some boxer mixed in. Congrats!

Very odd. I have never seen their ears like that. Maybe, someone before you got it special surgery to make its ears like that! Its very cute!

pits ear when natural should be flop..he's cute but i'm gonna say he's got some german shepherd...from the black saddle that lookslike is down his back...and the ears. but it could be other breeds that look like gsd's.so cute.

Yeah, seems like a Corgi, and that's why those ears are like that.. definitely not pure pit, face is not the face of that breed..

Ears look like a shepherd. Natural pit ears are dropped over. He's nowhere near a pure pit, I'd be shocked if he had a drop of pit blood. Looks like German Shepherd crossed with something... lab, or beagle perhaps. Face actually looks more like a chow or sharpei. Could be a smidge of pit bull, but very little.
