What should I do if I witness my neighbor abusing her dog2007-11-25 2:53:07

Turn them in. You shouldn't treat them any different than if it was happening to a human, or at least comfront them.

Do something. Anything you do is better than letting him live through that. The SPCA would be better than Animal Control, as Animal Control is more for animals bothering humans. But have a heart and get him away from that.

call the animal rescue league or a place where they can help the poor dog or if you can, when the people are out take the dog and bring it to the vet it sounds like you could get in trouble but the vets would understand and you wouldn't be a criminal you would be a hero just don't let that keep going on it's very cruel!!!

Listen you must do something immediatly ASVP Call the animal control center they'll know what to do. If the dog is bad enough they will take it; if not they will give the neighbor a warning and check back in a week or so. A good way to see how it's all done is watch animal cops on the animal planet channel. But there is no time for that. Call animal control. It's life or death here.

Well im not a dog fan actually im really terrified of them, but abusing a poor old animal is just plain wrong. I think you should report the owner.
