What should I do with my sons dog2007-11-25 2:53:33

My son is 16 and in school .Are family has 3 dogs 2 are german shepherd and the other one is a jack russell ,well spike is the jack russell and in the last 7 years he has put me threw just way 2 much .Day in and out I have worked with this dog to help out but I no its time to gave him up or something ,I only wish we could fine him a good home ,My son would like 4 him to stay living with use but I can't put up with all and jack russell are so so need E and then some he is great but needs some one with more time I don't have ,what should I do .I no be the mom fix it but I allso love him so how do I gave him to anyone so hes hear .help

Turn the dog over to a local no-kill shelter or breed specific dog rescue. ("Free to a good home" ads often attract people like animal hoarders, or animal "bunchers" who will take your dog and then turn around and re-sell it.) You can also post the dog to various sites such as craigslist.org. You might also see if your local rescues will post the dog for you on adoption websites. (They can usually do this for you free of charge.)
